Girls in Science 4 SDGs International Platform



The Girls in Science 4 SDGs International Platform is a Global Program of the Royal Academy of Science International Trust (RASIT) launched at the United Nations Headquarters by RASIT’s Executive Director, HRH Princess Dr Nisreen El-Hashemite, in 2018 in close collaboration with Mission of Portugal to the United Nations, to achieve equity in science and empower girls in science as Today’s leaders for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

ILHAM Competition



ILHAM Transforming Our World Competition is a solution-based competition around the SDGs for middle and high school students created by the Girls in Science 4 SDGs International Platform, a Global Program of the Royal Academy of Science International Trust (RASIT). The competition invites students to submit their ideas on the development and deployment of new innovative ideas, technology, initiatives, and programs related to each year's topic.

“Y 4 X” Global Initiative for Equality in Science



The “Y 4 X” Global Initiative recognises and supports the role of women and girls in science in Sustainable Development programs and encourages boys and men to act against toxic stereotypes and behaviours. The initiative reminds men and boys of the equal value of girls and women, and assures female colleagues of the commitment of men and boys in supporting them as equal collaborators and partners in life.

Writing Science in Braille Global Campaign



“Writing Science in Braille” is an International Consortium of Blind STEAM Professionals working in the public and private sectors, and in academia aims to achieve the rights of blind individuals in education, science, and equal opportunities, and their inclusion in socio-economic sustainable development programs as agents of change, not only its beneficiaries.

The Global Campaign was launched by the Royal Academy of Science International Trust (RASIT) on 11 February 2021 at the United Nations.



One-Billion Voices for Research & Development



The One Billion Voices Global Campaign together scientists and researchers worldwide to meet a common threat or challenge in health issues, climate change, illiteracy, hunger, and inequality. The campaign aims to strengthen the international science community stronger to advocate with policymakers and multi-stakeholders to invest in science-based solutions.



The Women & Girls in Science Health Alliance on Climate Change



The Women & Girls in Science Health Alliance on Climate Change brings together the voices of youth, scientists, policymakers, health care professionals, and the international community to advocate for action to combat climate change in a fair and equitable way, emphasizing the substantial benefits to health (the Health of People and Planet). Members of the Girls in Science 4 SDGs International Platform are coming together with women in science experts to communicate with experts on the relationship between health and climate change and advocate to government and multi-stakeholders on investment in science-based solutions for the people and the planet.



Value Veda Global Campaign for Science Education



The Value Veda Global Campaign for Science Education acknowledges and values the dedication and significance of science teachers and education-providers globally. The word ‘Veda’ in Slovak language means Science. The campaign empowers both students and teachers by equipping them with the right skills and knowledge to develop sustainable and thriving communities.



#INSPIRESHOP



The Saturdays Discussion-Driven Workshops, designed by Ms. Polona Safaric Tepes, a Slovenian Geneticist, aims to bring together scientists from all over the world to share their knowledge, and to inspire youth exploring different fields of sciences and its connection to the 17 sustainable development goals.
